The food business can be very demanding; however, our concept and systems don’t have what makes most food businesses so difficult.
Our hours of operation offer a work/life balance that is hard to find in our industry. A typical store will be open from 8am-6pm, Monday thru Saturday. Sunday operations are at your discretion and not required.
Our core ingredients are mainly dry goods and dairy products with long shelf lives to reduce waste. No produce, fresh fruits, or perishables that may be difficult to procure or to maintain quality.
Our training system makes it easier to train new employees with minimal baking & decorating experience. You will have the tools to get your own team up to speed quickly.
We also don’t disappear after your Grand Opening. Our corporate support includes touch base phone calls and online meetings, as well as in-person store visits to help you as your grow your business.
Our retail operation is our core and is supplemented by a robust wedding & event business, third party delivery partners and an online store through the company provided website. Multiple revenue streams provide a more consistent cash flow.
We also offer multiple business models to support a variety of locations and needs. Your initial investment can be tailored by choosing a model that works best for your individual goals.
Our Express Store model offers our entire menu of cupcakes along with a limited assortment of baked goods. No seating or espresso bar.
Our Traditional Store model expands on the Express Store model to also include a broader assortment of baked goods, and custom cakes. No seating and an espresso bar is recommended, but optional.
Our Full Café model offers our entire menu of cupcakes, cakes & baked goods but also adds an espresso bar & in-store seating. Some stores may also have a drive-thru or extended operating hours.
Before you open, you will attend a three-week hands-on and classroom training session at our corporate store in Puyallup WA. You will learn everything from daily store operations to managing the business. This intensive training session is required by all owners and will show you all aspects of the business including baking, decorating, and customer service, as well as HR functions and financial management.
After you open, our field support is available to answer questions or strategize with you. Corporate store visits will help to guide you as you grow your business.
